Just goes to show that the right team was involved in doing this localization, and keeping aspects like that intact.

Good point with the defend button. That would have been useful. Although it could also be too easy to which then the enemies would have to get harder and we'd be defending every other second.
So no, no defend button.

It's called strategy. Sorry mr cynical who tries to sound smarter than he is mr boom boom modern boobie warfare 6,some games you have to think. Ni no Kuni is heavy on management. Why battles can so so rewarding and challenging. You have to pay attention to so much but don't feel overwhelmed but on your toes. Level-5 is old school in making their games fairly challenging.

^It's hardly a challenging game it's been nothing but easy so far and I just passed 20 hours. The whole defend and attack thing not being introduced until 10 hours in is bullshit. Should have been done as soon as you get a second character.

I have over a dozen familiars and all 3 party members maybe deeper in the game but it's not challenging in the aspect of attacking but managing everyone during big boss battles. All RPG's esp Level 5 make you grind a lot and make you think more strategically.

In this game aslong as you over level compared to your surroundings, like most rpg's.. The game can then be pretty easy. But i have died a good amount of times still.

I got the Wizard's edition as an unexpected present and started playing a few days ago. It's good but I never get the feeling I get when playing games like Skies of Arcadia, Xenoblade or Zelda though. I can't totally get into the world, characters and story for some reason. Coming from Xenoblade the AI didn't seem as good either. I would've preferred fully turn based actually. I never sell games but I'm thinking of maybe selling that special edition after finishing the game (and repay the person who bought it since I feel kind of guilty if I'm not THAT into it). But we'll see, maybe it "clicks" later.By the way, I didn't really follow the game closely and didn't play the demo. So I wasn't overhyped or anything.

It's honestly the most annoying and ugliest avatar I have seen in a long while. It makes me want to avoid your posts to be honest. Not trying to be an ass either. Being honest :???:
