Ni No Kuni

Fuck that big ass RPG topic.

This game deserves it's own. I have the Wizards Edition Pre ordered. Demo I loved despite the timer. It felt like an old school game. PSone RPG days with modern HD visuals. That's just euphoria. Still sucks we won't get the whole story as the DS game stays in Japan mainly because of the book. This is my most wanted game for 2013 and 2013 has a few games I want. Anarchy Reins,Metal gear Rising,Dragons Crown,Rayman Legends,Bayonetta 2 and more.

the game reminded me of shenmue in a weird way, not because there are similarities in gameplay of course but it felt like a game where i would take my time while playing, a relaxing experience where I just go around exploring, doing all the small side quests and looking at the environments while listening to the soundtrack like in shenmue, a spiritual game I guess

The DS game is the exact same game but it ends about half way through so the PS3 one is just twice as long. From what I've heard the book in the Wizardwhatever edition is the book from the DS game.

No they have different queens. Level 5 said they didn't bring the DS game over because of the book. PS3 they can put all the spells in the game due to the size of the disc. Only the wizards edition gets that book in physical form.

I loved the demo. I think its going to be an amazing game. The artwork and soundtrack are inspiring.

I was thinking about getting the wizards edition cause it looks like a great set but I think im gonna pass. No doubt ill love the game but I vowed to not buy anymore special editions of anything a couple years ago. I just dont have the space in my life to value collectables and stuff like that anymore.

Yes. Jan 22nd 2013 so just a month away. Those who took advantage early could preorder the wizards edition for 100$. Sadly just recently they turned off those pre orders. DS game stayed in Japan however.

What the hell is wrong with people. I only get the next month off. I'll be back in my cube the day it comes out.

So what if the difference between the DS and PS3 version? I was under the impression the DS one was just scaled down.

If anyone wants to see some of the DS version. Olook around and now get conflicting reports. One says DS has a black queen and PS3 has a white queen. Another says as Riku says PS3 continues where DS left off.

I won't watch any more videos for it. Played the first half of the demo (might play the other half eventually too), but like Segata, I think going into this fresh will work out well.
I'm pretty excited for it right now. You can come out with all the Xenoblades and Last Stories in the world, but for some reason this is the JRPG to make me perk up and take a huge interest in the genre again. Not that I've ever had a distaste for the genre, I just haven't really been in the mood for it in a long time. Seems like this will be bringing me back to it.

There is still a possibility they might turn the Pre-Orders back on, but i doubt it. the namco bandai customer support have been real dick heads to me, sending me back and forth from the online store customer service, to the general namco bandai customer service both of them are saying they dont handle these situations and to get it resolved with the other, I guess its just their way of sayin fuck off.
