Moved into my dad's gaff and moved his shit to the house next door within three days. Was pretty damn pleased with myself considering I did most of it myself, lazy fuckers. Settling in pretty well, at complete calm n ease, just finished setting up my studio and all I've gotta do is clean up all the bollocks off the floor.

Anyway, starting work next week on a fighting game framework to submit to the Unity asset store, as it looks completely devoid of starter kits for beat em ups/brawlers/fighting games.

Because that's how I'm wired now, I suppose, I somehow came up with another concept for a new script as soon as I woke up this morning. Wrote the outline out and everything, detailing how it starts, goes down, and ends.

CONFINEMENT

GENRE: Containment Thriller

LOGLINE: An unhappily wed Guidance Counselor gets held hostage by a sociopathic, hyper-intelligent Teenager in her office, who threatens to bomb the school...unless he has his way with her.

Everything is detailed finely though I need to make sure the "bombing" part sounds natural for that character and not just a random crazy action to artificially create drama.

Thinking about it some more, I might even change it where the Student is so depressed the only person he trusts is the Counselor, since she's the only one who listens to him, so it's up to her to convince him not do go along with it.

Just got the Air Conditioner working yesterday and now have Chrono Trigger OST playing in my stereo and playing Dragon Quest IX as my cat is purring and sleeping on my lap. In a very peaceful bliss right now with a hot cup of tea in my Xenoblade mug.
