You are aware that there are heterosexual people who may seem "camp" or not traditionally masculine, aren't you? Just as there are gay people who do come across typically masculine and non camp.

I don't know who Tom Daley is or what his motives are but I will say that we as a society aren't at the stage where sexuality isn't a big deal yet. I know "coming out" won't seem necessary to many but I have no doubt that it could be very important in giving other young people the courage to do the same. In the not too distant future the concept of being "straight, gay or bisexual" will be seen as antiquated pigeonholing but we're still living in a civil right dark age and sexuality is far from the only issue.

TIL: Coming out is still a big deal and if you think otherwise then you're wrong.
