Napple Tale will be my first import Dreamcast title (an embarrassment considering Shenmue II should probably have been my first  ) and I don't really have a way to play the thing yet. Can anybody recommend a really good way to play dreamcast imports?

You may only need a boot disc(Action Replay Demo or Utopia) that you can burn for free. I think it may have something to do with when your specific console was made whether or not it works.

Another method you can do that doesn't involve hardware modding is just copying the game to CD and loading that up. Dreamcast doesn't pay attention to region when it loads a game from a CD-R.....or so I've heard. Just go with the boot disk, though. Its a lot less effort since you can't copy the discs in a PC you'll need other hardware or to just torrent the game.

A burnable boot disc like Utopia would be the simplest method. As far as I know, most Dreamcasts should work with it.

A Gameshark disc would also work if you have one.

Awesome, thanks. That boot disc is absolutely perfect -- exactly what I'd need.

Gamecube is my favorite console and the console I have the most games for and it still took me this long to get this game. Always borrowed and played at friends houses (all of which have sold it) but finally have a copy of my own :) gunna have some serious melee tournaments this weekend.

I kept telling myself over the years to get this. Every time I'd go to Best Buy -- any Best Buy -- it'd be sitting there on the shelf, bargain 20-dollar price tag staring me in the face, practically yelling to me "Remember the good times you had with my original? Now play me in HD with extra content!"
But it always seemed like there was something else for me to get first, so it continued waiting for me on those shelves. And I took it for granted, thinking it was one of those games that would always be easy to find a new copy of. It is a Rockstar game, after all. So sure, "Put it off a little longer... a little longer... a little longer..."
So then I find myself playing Kenka Bancho recently, having a grand old time with that, and it occurs to me: Bully was a lot like a western version of Kenka Bancho. The beat-em-up elements, the freedom to explore, the various clothing options, the light sense of humor, the option to go to class or play hooky...
(I may have thought of that years ago as well, but I might not have been in the correct mindset to actually act on it)
So, still being in that "Kenka Bancho" mood that I was, I thought "Fuck yeah, I feel like playing Bully! That game was excellent! Time to get the Scholarship Edition and go to town on it!"
But alas, as soon as I finally find myself craving it, it's impossible to find a new copy at any of my local stores. I check online, and see that new copies now generally go for 60 dollars or more anywhere I look.
Waiting was bad.
So I settle on the idea of getting a used copy (which still go for more than 20 bucks in most cases, unfortunately), and luckily was able to find one in nice condition at a local Gamestop, complete with map poster and a practically untouched manual. Still, it would have been cheaper if I'd gotten it earlier, and I'd be content in the knowledge that no one else ever put their greasy paws on it.
So kids, moral of the story: there is no moral. I just felt like typing a random wall of text.
Wokka wokka!

Bought a few things recently. Pre ordered this a few weeks ago, I don't really care about all the extra stuff but I was able to get it for the same price as the normal one so what the heck.

And the rest:

I was also going to get the Jak and Ratchet collections but see the price and it was stupid. I'll try and get someone to get me them when they're in the US as I'm sure it will be cheaper.
