Yeah, me too. It's a lot of fun. Of course not as deep as FC3 but still a lot more stuff to do than I imagined beforehand. I was hesitant between playing it or playnig FC2 again, and it certainly satiates that FC lust for a while. I had recently watched the Escape from New York so I was definitely in the mood for the game's feel and what it was trying to parody. hehe

Have you played the first Deus Ex? If not, you're doing yourself a huge disservice. It's easily one of the best games ever made and was my all time favorite before I played Shenmue II.

I didn't play it but I watched a friend of mine play it back in the day. My all-time favourite before I played Shenmue II was Shenmue I. So there.

Forgot that existed, so hopped over to Wiki and was reminded that the mighty Bruce Campbell lends his voice to it. Nice!

8) yet to try it out. (needs dumping and verifying before network transfer.)
played hail to the king for dreamcast and playstation, and it's just as well i ignore the reviews. (got a fair rap at the time.)
enjoyed it all the same, more for it's humor...
(watched a bit of burn notice as well, and it FAR from disappoints.)
with any luck, i get my 'carve me a witch' fix on this game too.

Yep, I was actually gonna mention Burn Notice in that last post, great show and uses Bruce Campbell in just the right way! Quite a few Evil Dead references in his "Fall of Sam Axe" episode-film too!

Since I started playing Tropico 5 again, they seemed to use a lot of the same music from that game in the arty helicoper/panorama camera montages at that start of Burn Notice episodes showing how awesome Miami looks with its scorching climate and interesting location in the world...

Holy shit, this game is cool. Sort of a Ninja Gaiden-esque indie game, all about slashing up waves of enemies and pulling off flashiy sword moves. It's a bit limited (it literally is just wave after wave in one arena after the next, with a boss at the end of each), but for a two-dollar-on-sale indie game, it's not like I was expecting anything triple-A. Regardless, this almost gives off the feel of triple-A anyway. Glossy as hell. A surprising amount of fun.
It's on sale on Steam at the moment, but I believe it's also available on gog.com. Check it out.

That game sounds neat.

I just ordered this baby off Nintendo UK site:

phpBB [video]

£49.99 for all that! How many Limited Editions are that cheap, normally? Really nice price, far less than I was expecting. And I just found out that the game will be in both English and Japanese! Dual audio goodness. Will probably play it in Japanese (which was well overdue, tbh, considering the subject matter, setting and themes of the series) and then play it in English when I go for a replay. Still excellent to see that. God, September is MGS5 and October is Fatal Frame V. And if Persona 5 is announced for release in December, this really will be the year of Fives! I just can't contain my giddy, little childish excitement for these games.

^^ hope it's worth the 50bat$. (dual/multi streams are the best. many RPG's have that feature. a good indication games have D/Mstream, is the dump size vs a single language version. D/Mstreams are HUGE by comparison.)
please do a third-person style recording of gameplay, and the hud from your POV.
...
the first three games are great, couldn't handle four due to medical (bone) related nothings. (why no pad support?)
if you have the equipment, have one input pulling the game stream, and another showing the wiiu pad screen. (doubt it's possible to stream AV from gamepad to an intercepting device yet.)
looking to crack that thing, and FF V would be a good first legit game for it, assuming it doesn't force waving arms about.
(not sure what the value of LTD-EDIT games are, but 50 quid is relatively expensive, give it all you got for the spondoolies forked over. have fun. )

...But £50 is the standard price for new games nowadays. :???:
As far as Special Editions/Limited Editions etc - for example Type 0 HD Collector's Edition cost £80 new and that's a port of a PSP game.

had a look online, and it shows how out of touch (and out priced) i must be.
prices varied from reasonable pre-owned prices, to what you said, and beyond...
still, half a tonne is a chunk from a 'slime' perspective. ;-)
...
i'll have to do a video of my stash, did one before, but it's  deleted  pride demands effort. (and hardly a thing was bought new, waited as income doesn't allow to be the first in queue, oh well?! :P patience!)
and to go back to '50 notes' some have it, or don't? and when they do, it's very fleeting.
in any case, enjoy it!

Nice grab, Henry. Unfortunately it's still not up for preorder in the US yet, or else I'd order it as well. Don't have a Wii-U, but like I said in the Fatal Frame topic, I'll be buying the game regardless. Simply looks like the most promising horror game to appear in... well, years. And whether I have the right platform or not, that deserves any support I can give, as early as I can give it. Keeping a lookout now.
