All I have to say is Playstation 4 is going to win the market here in Japan against the Xbox One hands down. Microsoft hasn't done anything to prove to us that they are better than Sony in aspects of total gaming/entertainment experience. Xbox Live is great..(yeah).. but releases are not versatile like the titles Sony and Nintendo get, And..especially now since this 4 in 1 entertainment system seems to be more directly marketed towards North America and Europe. I honestly think that its going to be collecting dust on the shelves here and thats a guarantee if the price is outrageous. Also, not just Sony has been faithful to the consumer gaming/entertainment experience,Nintendo has always done fantastic here as well in giving us gamers what we want. Great games! I respect Microsoft's business strategies but its like a double edged sword.Ok i'm done ranting... :???:

You're right kenshin, the moment Xbox One (batsu-ichi) hits stores over there they better have some ridiculous exclusive they paid someone off for, like Monster Hunter 4 or else it'll drown immediately. They really need to just skip that market entirely for at the very least, all of 2014 when people are still buying up Wii U and PS4.

Which is why it would be "rediculous", because all the other major games Japanese people want are going to be on Wii U/PS4 barring MS doesnt break bank to pay their way into the market.

Microsoft to invest 1 billion dollars in to next gen games
Microsoft has revealed that it will invest $1 billion toward games for Xbox One. Speaking to OXM, Don Mattrick (president of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business) and Phil Spencer (Microsoft Studios corporate vice president) explained that despite mixed reactions to last week’s Xbox One announcement, the company is focused on games looking forward.

Think everyone knew this anyways but Phil Spencer has confirmed that XBLA games are also not BC

http://www.oxm.co.uk/55107/xbox-live-ar ... microsoft/

Doesn't the XBox One not being BC slap the all in one system for the living room name tag to hell and back?
Because for those that want to keep playing them they need to keep their 360 meaning they will have at least 2 consoles under their TV.

"IMO" I think the controller looks kinda lame.. Probably comfortable and finally supposedly better d-pad but... Microsoft isn't being creative with design at all.

I'm happy they haven't changed it too much about it as the 360 pad is almost perfect apart from the D Pad which has now been fixed.
