Yes but G owns cars that are worth more than my life and all its possessions put together. I was kinda looking for a wee plastic box to do the trick. Preferably under a tenner. On a budget here.

Something like this do?

Need some tech help.

My new TV has all the input connections known to man, except the glorious people at Samsung felt the need that a PC input was just not necessary in this great age, so im screwed when it comes to trying to hook up my DC VGA connection to get back into Shenmue again. Anyone any ideas what i need? I assume its some sort of converter, but i am having trouble finding one. I can find a HDMI to VGA converter with no bother, but i need the opposite to that, also with a separate audio connection built in.

Anyone know an answer to this riddle? And no, i am not buying a new TV :nice!:

Maybe the following will fit the need: Atlona VGA-to-HDMI scaler/upconverter.

Shenmue II on the Xbox is the only time I've EVER bought a console for just one game. It was well worth the price . I beat it countless times and had it for 6 months before my xbox and games got stolen from me back in 2002. I also had JSRF and Sega GT a demo disc with Halo 1 on it. As well as a yakuza racing game can't remember the name it was great if someone remembers let me know. Ah the wonderful memories of racing friends in SEGA GT before plowing through S2 for the untempth time and trying to expel to them the wonderful world of Shenmue. A few got it.

Yea, i literally just seen that this minute on Facebook after James (Shengoro) commented on the article. I ordered the upscaler earlier so that problem is hopefully taken care of, but that article filled me with so much happiness because the Dreamcast is STILL being modded and helping to grow by its fans. Such a feeling of pride when i seen that. HDMI was an idea when the DC was designed. Online console gaming was a more plausable idea, but still an idea.

Class it down into categories for comparison if you want, but the Dreamcast will always be my favourite console as a whole. What it further lacks in graphical impression etc. as time goes on, its heritage is made all the greater by tweaks like this, and all done through its fans.

Has anyone ever translated what's on the menu at the Harbor Cafeteria? I'd really like to know.
I tried to translated some of this via Google but some characters are to complicated to redraw.
Only got things like "Lunch A/B" and "O soba" out of it.

Bottom left to right: Chuuka-soba = Chinese noodle, o-soba = buckwheat noodle, o-udon = udon noodle,
Chaahan = fried rice
Upper right: Kaigun curry = Navy curry

That is absolutely insane how the game has that detail. I mean, astonishing. Once again, another piece of Shenmue info I never knew after 15 years. Crazy.

Here we go Upscaler in full swing. Time to play Shenmue again.

Edit: SHITE! My DC keeps resetting whilst playing the game. I have had it boxed up for a long while so I am hoping it's just the internal battery needs charged up so I will keep it plugged in for a couple if hours and see how it goes.

One way I found to combat that is to close the lid to (as in don't click it shut), then rest the game case on top. Dunno if it was just for the problem I was having, but it may work.

Try this.

I fixed my Dreamcast doing this and it hasn't reset ever since.

Thanks guys. Almost got an erection when I got inside the DC, it was that sexy. Anyways I did the pin bending and whatever was at fault is gone now. Been playing Shenmue for a good hour now.
