Next gen so far is looking..well to be polite confusing and unsure.

So, based on what you know and have seen. Yes E3 is around the corner and we can change our minds then.


As for me nothing for now as Vita and 3DS are my next gen systems at this moment. Vita has a huge year ahead for me.

Wii U just for X and Bayonetta 2 and now Sonic has my interest but if X came out this year I would still just buy the game and not the console yet.

Tech part of me is drooling a bit over PS4.

Xbox. No thanks unless they fix some issues.


Just will be interesting how we think now and post E3 just to get a comparison if we change or not at all

This poll would make sense more after E3. As it stands I don't know what I'll get at at first but I'm sure by the end of the generation I'll have all 3. As it stands I won't get either the PS4 or Xbox because each one only has a handful of games announced.

I think it'll be a while before I buy into the next round of home consoles. I have quite a backlog on the machines I own, and the next one I buy will be a PS3 to mop up the exclusives that interest me.

As things currently stand, for my own tastes there are no must-haves on the Wii U, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. I expect that to change when a 3D Mario game is released, in which case Nintendo's machine will be the first that I buy. It won't be straight away though.

After that, I will probably get one of the other two consoles for games that inevitably won't be released on the Wii U, and based purely on what we know so far, that's most likely to be the PS4. But it's very early days. A good Banjo-Kazooie game could put me in a right pickle.

No matter what gen we are in. Dreamcast always wins. Dreamcast even won the 8-16 bit wars. Dreamcast beats Jesus. Nothing wins over Dreamcast. Ever. Now let us pray the big swirl in the sky.

on a related note I was 100% sure I would get a PS4 until it seemed like SEGA will stop bringing yakuza to the west. now I think I will just get a gaming PC an stick with my vita unless sony manage to convince me by bringing an exceptional library of exclusives to the PS4

Wii U Home Screen. I know cynical guys like us soff at this and it's not for me but I understand why.
Nintendo has always been a more simple approach.


It's just Xbox 360/W8 with more ads. I don't mind the 360 UI but not big on it nor W8.
Still it works and easy to use.



PS4. This to me is the best. It's clean it's simple. Elegant and just cool looking.
I feel relaxed here. Not a bunch of tiny characters running around among a white screen burning my retina
No ads like MS.

Personally I think PS4 did it best.

XBO. I love the 360 controller. My fave this gen. Just the D pad sucks. MS touched on how they improved on the Dpad
We shall see.


It's basically a fatter 360 controller with the analog moved. Not heard any complaints from Wii U owners.
Seems like a non issue. Seems nice. The Problem however is not enough games use it yet. Not everyone wants the big screen.




Sony wanting touch in it's controller but comes across as hey mee too like they did with Sixaxis to Wii Remote.
Still I like they they retired the old design but not everyone will. DS3 includes Move built in but 3 people even bought move. Get a cool blue light tho. Don't forget the share button



I have to hold them to know. I am a big controller guy every system I buy like 8-10 controllers. Don't ask why.
I was never a fan of Sony DS and hopefully this is better.
