Shenmue 3 and E3 2013

Don't get your hopes up. Every E3 a lot of Shenmue fans go through this. It's best not to expect anything.

The key is to do not hope for something particular, but to hope generally. That is do not say "I hope that Shenmue ... on E3", "I hope that Shenmue ... on Tokyo Game Show", "I hope that Shenmue ... on GDC", but hope for the unexpected (but ALWAYS from a Trusted and Real source). I think that it will reduce the disappointment. At least, that is how I face it, I think.

^I wouldn't say it was a troll. The write up mentions that a few days ago on twitter people were celebrating sega's "birthday" by sharing memories. That was just one of a bunch of games posted to commemorate their 53rd anniversary.

I do as well but I also like owning games and not have my privacy invaded by a big face.

So with Xbox One you are renting them and losing basic consumer rights and freedoms and becoming a slave to the console. In 10 years when the service is shut down. No more games for you. Also used games are pretty much out. Have fun.

Shenmue is the only reason I'd ever pay $500 for a console. That's why I bought the first Xbox. Even seeing Dead Rising 3 isn't enough to get me to put down that much money. I agree with Ryudo on DRM. I've never liked the idea. I don't really even like iTunes but since the songs are only .99 or 1.29 I overlook it. I rarely buy preowned games because with money and time scarce I only buy games that I really intend to play.
