Guess my observations were correct. Thanks for the confirmation.

Unwrapping ears sucks. That is all.

Also, I pasted an in-game screenshot on to his head and it verifies that it'll look like the real 'Ryo' when it's properly textured...thankfully.

Sorry to bump this, but I wanted to share a concept art screen I made based on these sprites, because I really liked them. Hope you don't mind.



I'd love to see this happen. Imagine if 1 & 2 were remade with this style of gameplay, but with Streets of Rage style battle gameplay mixed with this old school point & click adventure. Shenmue 3 could be made on a budget of something insanely small, if it too followed this style. I doubt Yu would get behind the idea, but it's nice to dream.

Yes it's from another game. I can't paint that well, lol. (Well, I guess I could if I spent like 2 weeks on it!) I'm not sure which game it's from though; I found it by accident.

That would be awesome,I have always loved old school side scrollers and seeing Shenmue like one would be epic.
