This is a nice hope inducing mention. I think people like Let's Get Sweaty deserve a lot of credit for this, and they took every opportunity to push the community in the right direction whenever opportunities presented themselves.

It's a positive sign but we ain't there yet. Both Sony and Sega need continued encouragement to make this actually happen, because so far all we know is that Sony's interested in looking into the possibility. That's a big step forward but it by no means guarantees they'll pull out all the stops to put the game on our screens.

Look out for big changes to the social media campaign following the December 3rd Tweetathon.

This one will mean a lot, certainly. I'd like for everyone involved to write towards Sony that day, not only with the typical hashtag. I'll be sure to promote it like wildfire the week prior.

This is the story of my reaction when I accidentally read about it:
WWWWWWWOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

WWWWWWWOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

WWWWWWWOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

WWWWWWWOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

WWWWWWWOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

WWWWWWWOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

WWWWWWWOOOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I'll tell you the whole story... detailed!
- Just woke up this morning and I was looking for a safe search engine to install on my browser. I came through DuckDuckGo (HTTPS/SSL, an excellent one) and then I stumbled across one I haven't seen before, that is Privatelee. I visited its website and, as always, the first search query I put to test a search engine, was ...what else, Shenmue!

I scrolled down the results, where the first were the common ones, and then, I stumbled across the 6th result, which its title was "Sony Wants To Bring Shenmue To PlayStation - NowGamer" (http://www.nowgamer.com/news/2157082/sony_wants_to_bring_shenmue_to_playstation.html). I visited it for once, and now that is the interesting part...

While skimming the article, I was like "Hah, I wish that was true..." and then "It's gotta be an old article concerning a rumor." But, then, I saw a very familiar name: "Boyes"! My heart started to pump fast! Furiously, I was looking to find the date of that article! And it was... "Published on Nov 13, 2013". WWWOOOSSSHHH!!!

I rushed and with hands shaking I typed on the address bar "facebook dot com", adding credentials and with a big urge, full of enthusiasm and frightened, I started to write these lines, as a witnessing of a Shenmue fan's reaction caught on ...a post!

P.S.: If that is a small sample of a Shenmue fan's reaction, imagine what would happen when Shenmue I-II HD and/or Shenmue III will officialy be announced and, especially, when you'll get the chance to play it for real... Heart Attack!

Henry Spencer wrote: How ironic would it be if it ends up being SEGA's biggest rival during their Dreamcast days (when Shenmue was made) and therefore the one that some SEGA fans blame for the Dreamcast's demise that saves the Shenmue franchise. Oh sweet irony. :P

I'd like it to be the case, just so that those SEGA fans can finally get over it.

That would truly be the best possible ending for the series.

I dunno if I am more curious to see what happens in Shenmue 3 or how this place would go down if Sony actually announced it

Cool, let's tell Sony to back off then, so we can wait another 12 years for Sega to fund a multiformat version themselves.

Better not. It's too much work to spread that new hashtag then. #DontgiveSonythShenmueLicense
Ain't nobody's used to that.

I bought a PS3 just for yakuza, but my brand loyalty has always been with xbox.Shenmue would change that however. And I think they will do it because its probably the biggest thing they could do for their whole we are with the gamers street cred.Gonna have to buy an aftermarket controller though.I refuse to call those four buttons a d-pad!!

Someone have to make a News Post about this:

Everybody get on this please... A little more buzz never hurt anybody!

Let's try and get Shenmue featured in an official PlayStation magazine:

What Shenmue Dojo is doing anyway? Don't get me wrong, you can understand where I am coming from. We must concetrate all our efforts. If some here are tired, then give rights to post content to people who willing, like Let's Get Sweaty and other guys. Sorry to keep pushing this, but some momentum to has to be created here and not being sleepy.

I've updated the front page to encourage fans to send in their answer. I don't create entirely new updates like this on short notice. If we did this for every single voting poll the front page will look ridiculous. I've already shared the news on our social sites like Facebook (Shenmue Dojo & ShenmueFans), Twitter and Youtube, which is far more effective in sending urgent news out.
