Same. Ive beaten Shenmue 1 in the span of playing an entire day as a "speed run" but then theirs been times I literally dont venture into Dobuita until like the 3rd in-game day. It all depends on my mood.

personally nothing at least gaming wise has a more calming effect on me then just walking through hong kong in shenmue 2. listening to the sounds, music, the beautiful surroundings. even something like south carmain and white dynasty have incredible charm for me.

I always enjoy walking in games that allow me to walk. I can relate more that way. Though I can't say I always walk.

Ryos walking animation puts me off walking at times plus the dated way he just doesn't react when walking into people.

But yeah running on snow was always great.
