Let me guess. You actually made this site with a small chance of it having an infection on it?

I'll let someone else try it.

Well, I did my part and shared with the forum a link that contains art and some of the UMV graphics. You don't have to speculate or imply that it could be infected to ruin my first ever post here. If I were you, I'd welcome new members and keep nonsense and speculations to my self. So stop living in your own world and being delusional. :)

Has some stuff I've never seen before. Where did all of it come from? It is laid out in the same manner as the Japanese Shenmue II (which I don't have, only have heard described second hand), so it may be common knowledge for some.

It has loads of things to explore other than Shenmue, like pre-gameboy designs, PSX joysticks with the analog sticks on the top of the joysticks and Sega Saturn stuff and many more!! enjoy!!!! What can you make out of it?

What is M2?

There are some interesting documents here >>>> http://nocomputable.net16.net/sfiles/M2/Misc%20docs/

I suggest someone copies all the files from the website and uploads them in a new section on the dojo. I have a feeling it will go down soon.

Some good stuff on that site, I've not seen some of that artwork before. Can anyone confirm if all of that stuff has been available before? Did it come from the Japanese artbook or something?

But why is that website so bafflingly difficult to navigate?

What does any of that stuff have to do with Shenmue though?

Mysteries abound.

He thinks he stumbled onto some great secret, when it's clear as day that someone just has a bunch of game-related files. They are all sorted into simple enough categories. Nothing beyond the /Shenmue directory has anything to do with Shenmue whatsoever. All you've found is the file archive for a handful of fan sites.

As for M2:

Why they keep saying we? who are they?

http://nocomputable.net16.net/sfiles/Shenmue/Shenmue_2/GD%202/OMAKE/HTML/CHA_KUN.HTML

You know what I think?

I think and this is my speculation, no hard evidence what so ever, actually non at all but the fact that this is a storage site just like the "drop box" from the 90s where I think and yet again, no back up here, its made by one of the developers/team member am2. where he/she can up load the data so the whole team could look at it, or just use it personally.

Another thought is since they have goodies as they claim they have, http://nocomputable.net16.net/sfiles/Shenmue/Shenmue_2/GD%201/OMAKE/HTML/SG_TITLE.HTML
talking about this http://nocomputable.net16.net/sfiles/Shenmue/Shenmue_2/GD%201/OMAKE/HTML/SG_NAK.HTML,

or the movies like http://nocomputable.net16.net/sfiles/Shenmue/Shenmue_2/GD%204/OMAKE/INDEX.HTML
and http://nocomputable.net16.net/sfiles/Shenmue/Shenmue_2/GD%204/OMAKE/HTML/MOV_FRAME01.HTML

and never seen before art, which means there isn't any on the discs http://nocomputable.net16.net/sfiles/Shenmue/Shenmue_2/GD%202/OMAKE/HTML/CHA_FRAME01.HTML and http://nocomputable.net16.net/sfiles/Shenmue/Shenmue_2/GD%202/OMAKE/INDEX.HTML .

I'd say, probably Shenmue had a feature removed that you could access the art online via the dreamcast.

Please share your views on this.

I think that somebody's saved the web pages and has stored it on there. Otherwise, where are the videos? Back in the day, if you wanted a video on your website, you'd pretty much have to host it on your site. If it was hosted on the site, and it was indeed run by members of AM2, then the videos would be present in the "sfiles/Shenmue/Shenmue_2/GD 4/OMAKE/HTML/" directory.

The fact that the videos are absent, coupled with the various non-Shenmue (and more importantly non-SEGA) directories in the "/sfiles" index, points to the simple conclusion that this is a collection of data that is more than likely to be used for a fan site, or possibly even just web storage.

Yes, the guy who owns/runs the web directory has information that has most likely been saved from the website of an AM2 employee or the team themselves, however that does not mean that the site you are linking to is in any way affiliated to anyone who has worked on the Shenmue games, the evidence at hand says the contrary.
