Well, nothing in particular really stood out to me. A few nice games worth a look, though, but nothing really "revolutionary".

Re: E3: Microsoft Conference

I have to say, I thought Kamiya's new game looked laughably terrible. Looked like a dumb mishmash of shit that would be cool alone, but looks silly all smooshed together the way they are. Of course, it was just a cg trailer, but still. I'm starting to get the feeling that with anything post-Capcom out of Kamiya, I'm just not a fan of the guy.

There was a lot of CG trailers and no real gameplay footage at this conference...

Halo Collection was really nice though, especially the news about Halo 1 and 2's mutiplayer being online. And Phantom Dust is supposedly a remaster/remake of the original, not a new game. Still cool with me, since we never got it, but I can see that disappointing established fans.

EDIT: I think we're better off just making this a central hub for all E3 news/conferences rather than just Microsoft's. Might as well discuss it all in one topic instead of having topics for each conference all over the place. The other topic was just the "anticipation/guessing what will be there" topic anyway.

Actually, if anything, that's kind of a saving grace of it. I don't want a sequel. If you ever get around to playing through the original game, you'll know why. There's just no room for it at the end without forcing it.
So even though I don't really like the look of the new one so far, the fact that it's a remake is kind of a bright spot.

Yeah, good idea. Thanks for changing this. :)

Well, I've got trouble with EA's stream (anybody else?), so yeah, got nothing to see but their sports series'. Right at the beginning of Mirrors Edge's sequel it broke. Anyway, still looking forward to the other conferences, especially Ubisoft, Sony and Nintendo.

Roll on Zelda and the Nintendo Direct tomorrow. Just praying it's on par with the Twilight Princess E3 reveal. That's what I am most excited for but god knows if Nintendo has continued to balls even more.

Mirror's Edge 2.
They don't have much to show at the moment (the city is clearly unfinished), but it seems like it's coming along nicely. Seems like the style and atmosphere of the original will be properly represented. That's all I could really ask for (though I am still a bit disappointed that it's a revamp, and not a sequel).

Also saw the first stuff for Assassin's Creed: Unity. The gameplay looks phenomenal (the climbing looks even more silky-smooth than before), but I'm suddenly a bit put-off by the setting. I thought the French Revolution would be cool, but somehow seeing a bunch of noblewomen's heads on pikes, put there by a mob of people that the Assassins are apparently supporting... that's just not appealing at all.

God, Ubisoft's conference is almost always shit with something actually interesting right at the end (Watch Dogs/Rayman Origins). I'm guessing either Beyond Good & Evil 2 or Prince of Persia being the last game they show off this year. Or a new IP.

Yeah, it wasn't bad. They've always had good trailers for the series, though.
I enjoyed playing the first game in co-op, for what it was. Interested to see what happens with this one.

Not surprised ME looks the same with some new tricks here and there.

More anxious on what the story is gonna be like this time. I really hope they actually focus on the Runners and the kinds of packages they deliver instead of some bullshit murder-conspiracy cliché like the last one.

No Man's Sky looks really interesting, in a Minecraft sort of way. Don't really understand what the gameplay is going to be like but it looks gorgeous.
