Indeed I would assume now that it's funded some clarity would be provided soon. I really would love to see Yu's face knowing his dream will come to fruition.

Can't believe how rapidly the sum keeps increasing, every time I refresh it has gone up, I'm glad to have secured my copy with my $160, shenmue 3 is no longer a fantasy people, it's finally really happening.

In the past two years or so I always said that a Shenmue Kickstarter will go like nothing else before.
I'm glad to actually see it break records.

The kickstarter has hit the stretch goal of $2.5 million.

I am intrigued by this stretch goal as there isn't any information on it. Could it mean cinematics for the first two games in the new engine, maybe 10 minutes worth per game that do a brief overview of the story so far? Or perhaps anime?
