Shenmue III on PC: Potential for Modding

With the announcement of Shenmue III coming for PC on Unreal Engine 4, it'll be interesting to see in a few years what mods the community will make. It's already really impressive what the community has managed to do with the Dreamcast games, but now that process will be much simplified. Even without an SDK, fans have come up with great mods for GTA V on PC.

Maybe some people will start a Shenmue I and/or II remake based on the assets? Add arcade games? Update the textures to super ultra mega HD in 2025? Even though it's so far away, I think having Shenmue III officially on PC will really help with the game's longevity.

I also have already converted almost all of the textures from S1 Disc 3 to a basic universal format that UDK will read.

I wish! I only know web development languages unfortunately (Rails, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and just recently learnt Swift), working on a music social network thing of my own.

Just curious, what languages do you use to do your modding work?

Just curious, what languages do you use to do your modding work?

To be honest, Im just using already made software to do everything. For manual work, I use hex editing and code searching. As for programming, I can program in Java.

He's making it through another person but this guys got talent. He remade doubita in Unreal Engine 4 already and he's been looking for peeps
