Hey all, I'm starting a Let's Play Shenmue stream today at 7pm PST (in 7 mins!) and will continue to stream it every Thursday (for Throwback Thursdays lol) at 7pm PST for roughly 2-3 hours each stream. I'm mostly streaming it for my friends (and anyone else who haven't play Shenmue) but would love to have you guys join the stream! Hope to see you tonight!

So the truth is I have already checked to see if the stream is live a few times. I think im addicted to duck races o.o

Ugh... maybe soon I need to go ahead and start playing Shenmue II. I played Shenmue I back in like 2010 i believe, and I think I remember my Dreamcast struggling to load, I think the lens or machine that moves the lens is starting to go. I am gonna check my DC later, but I found some awesome things on amazon I wanna get if I do start playing my DC (assuming it still works, and if it doesnt I'll have to buy a new Dreamcast too...)

First is a an HD Dreamcast VGA cable, the second is a VGA to HDMI adapter, and the reviews are saying these 2 work well together, so im hoping for some decent resolution hopefully. Think its worth buying? Or what other route should I go?

I have that VGA to HDMI box and although it works,the quality really doesn't seem that great and the fact that it has no 3.5mm in is very annoying. Not bad at all for $20 though.

i would imagine the quality of that VGA to HDMI box would depend heavily on the quality of your Dreamcast VGA cable itself. Which one do you have? Is it actually an HD VGA cable? Or the older ones from around the time the DC came out? Im sure these newer ones give it a little something extra!

The Dreamcast quit on me by suddenly rebooting, and then my capture software gave me fits.
