Here's another wikipedia article about them:

Apparently they're designed to be easily defensible, which would make sense, as Baisha village features an 'infiltration mission' into the Chi You Men's Guilin branch. I imagine we'll be sneaking into one of these Tuluos somehow.

For Choubu, we know it's a "riverside village with lots of shops, souvenir stores, hotels and temples", and that Yu Suzuki travelled to Suzhou in 1993 (as revealed in his Shenmue post-mortem). I hope he'll use it as inspiration, as it's very beautiful, being known as 'the Venice of China':

Yeah, good point. I do remember Yu Suzuki mentioning visiting Suzhou, during that Shenmue post-mortem. It does seem likely that he'll use it as inspiration for Choubu.

And it also makes sense that Ryo will have to infiltrate some tulou, but I certainly hope that stealth section is handled better this time. As much as I love Shenmue, I must admit that the stealth sections weren't exactly stellar.

Olha, um português. Excelente tópico, Rei, obrigado.

Having this setting conceived by Yu Suzuki for a Shenmue game gets me more excited than it ought to.

Yeah the tulous should be fun to explore. In terms of graphical detail, I'm hoping these villages will be similar/better than Sao Paulo in Max Payne 3: http://i.imgur.com/Rnils1D.jpg
