it's a stretch to say 'best' just speaking mind.
...
the other half?
in a nutshell, takes two to tango, the blame is all-round. (even me in some ways, actions...)
i'm a man, so it's easy to take an outside perspective on females, and i know through experience women have what it takes to meet the challenges head-on.
look at scottish women, and irish of past...
hard as nails rushing livestock in freezing weather, take your fucking skull off if you don't address them with respect.
...
anyway, society has changed, and so has life. (quite literally, we go with the easier screw, and regardless of who gets the easy ride, it's taken without thought if it's for granted.)
i don't claim to know any answers, but it certainly not as pat as the overall circus is displayed. :-k

Nah, that's patently sexist and pandering to the patriarchy.

This is what a feminist wet dream looks like:

i'm so certain that a dojo thread discussion on feminism is going to be even handed and academic, i'm not even going to bother reading it

"This is still what a feminist looks like."

Fat, unattractive, entitled and arrogant?
Yeah, we knew that

EVen though I'm not one of the "anti-feminists" in this topic, that story today about how they are thinking of introducing women-only carriages on trains made me splenetic with rage when I heard it.
Then I saw the story being shared about FB with tons of comments (weirdly from loads of males) saying how it's a really good idea and how it should help with the struggles of existing as a female in modern UK society.

I am rapidly losing the will to live in this world, no joke.

^^ i can relate...a bit.
having to adapt to segregation is easy for folks that was fringed to begin with...
and it's a two-way blade, one i have NO qualms using it against the policy enforcers.
it's also a given, that when rules apply to a specific group, they're totally flexible and optional toward the protected (they don't know the true meaning of 'victim' yet. keeps up, they will) and pretty much certifies it as PLUTOCRACY RULE!
...
on the other hand, out yesterday doing menial degrading shit, shopping and queues, in the breadline.
had to use a public loo in the center of the bus station.
there's two.
one for males, the other, females. (and a specialist loo for wheelchairs and the aged of any gender)
the male loo was full, and i was literally pissing myself.
looked at the disabled loo, same story.
the womens shitter on the other hand, surprised there was nobody in there.
a conductor on his break was stood opposite to the structure, so i stated as a matter of fact:
look, dude, i know you have better things to do, but i'm using the female bogs, or i piss on the floor.
if you call the rozzers based on that, we have a serious problem. capiche?!
he respond:
yeah, i'm on my break, not paid to give a fuck what happens, make of that what you will.
my job is to drive the germ-wagons, not paid to care outside that.
as you were.
...
WOOHOO! :P
in short, all was well.
nobody actually noticed me walking out, or cared?!
...
still, i won't piss myself in the street, and i'll STILL use womans bogs if nobody in them.
and another point:
women can and DO use male bogs themselves.
as far as the fuckhead masses are concerned, nothing wrong, no such thing as female nudity...that kind of folks.
i don't have an issue there, which is why i use theirs on occasion, and make NO apologies for that.
...
and agreed, my will to live is corrupt, to the point i'm having thoughts along the lines of prince philip, and that's the self-warning i'm turning into 'one of them' and becoming the thing despised.
i won't let it happen, it fucks em off to see me alive, stealing their oxygen and resources...metaphorically speaking. :P

The way that it seems like a kneejerk reaction bit of politics which was so readily lapped up by a few did piss me off yeah, but it was the impracticalities in the real world thoughts that annoyed me more. Like, was everyone's season ticket gonna go up a high percentage again to pay for all this? And if they do put the prices up, shouldn't EVERYONE have the benefit of a guard on the train, (in my sick little fantasy, the guards'd all be mentally unbalanced ex-SAS soldiers and paratroopers, thus capable of dealing with scrotes waving knives about quite easily etc. They may even wear sunglasses all the time!) to look after things for everyone, instead of a special carriage for a small group?
