Yes it has been reappropriated by some of the gay community but they'd still be a lot of people offended by the term.

The N word has been reappropriated also to a degree but it's still highly offensive to many and IGN would never use it so I don't get why they think queer is acceptable.

Well Mexico has legalised it also recently (sort of).

And yes it has been legal a long time in Canada- a lot of those people got it ripped out of them for being so stupid bless them lol
