Sometimes you ask me how to help for #Shenmue3 , If we can connect with that guy @pewdiepie we could bring our game to global audience.

To be honest is an idea I had a while, and would reach a lot of people.

The guy is in the comedy side of gaming, but shenmue has sailor and bad voice acting, so he can work on that.
Or even the duck racing thing. Maybe we can provide him with an emulator with the specific saves or something.

I don't think he'll do it, but it's worth a shot (and a lot more realistic than Clueless Gamer).

I dont think much good would come from pdp showcasing shenmue apart from more viral memes like the

Shenmue is an aquired taste, probably a bit too classy for the south park toilet humor immature people of pdp youtube.

Yeah its great advertising, in numbers, but I cant imagine him understanding and conveying what shenmue is about, the history of it and selling it.
There isnt even a legit digital copy of 1/2 for sale, so its dreamcast or emulation.
both of which have there downfalls.

We already had this discussion some time ago, if it would help if pewdiepie played Shenmue for one or a couple of his videos. I still haven't really watched any of his stuff but I've heard countless times that he makes fun of just about everything. That's what these youtubers usually do, gets you the most viewers I guess.

Since he has so much reach with that insane amout of subscribers it would definately help spread the word about the Kickstarter and Shenmue in general. Part of me fears that some watchers will take his mockery too serious and hate on the game but then I think further ahead and realise that there will always be people who do so.

just watched some of his stuff, doesn't seem to be a lot different from the myriad other let's players on youtube. am i missing something?

if its helps shenmue then i'm all for trying to get him to play it. would a twitter bomb work?

37 million subscribers is insane. Just having Pewds play it would do wonders to the KS, even if he pokes fun at it (he does that with mostly every game anyway).
