It's not a random thing at all - it's a campaign manager/site merchandiser at kickstarter's job to put stuff like this up, so it's pretty clear that whoever did is likely a Shenmue fan. And it's called project of the day. Derp.

If this is the case, I'm disappointed somehow. The project needed visibility mostly during the catastrophic days but AJ page was weaker and we had not PS4 physical disc at this time so that's ok.

Depends, by now probably everyone has heard of Shenmue 3, it was announced to millions at E3 and has broken records. So I'm not sure if it will cause a huge boost however every bit helps right? So it's still a good thing.
