Biscay on Twitter: Shenmue HD and Paypal news in September?

What I'm finding curious about this is the fact that Shenmue Dojo Facebook only speaks of Paypal news, while Team Yu only speaks of Shenmue III news:

The twitter user clearly asks about three things: Shenmue III, Paypal and "the HDs", obviously meaning Shenmue I&II HD. So if Cedric Biscay understood all parts of the question correctly, this might (!) mean we'll get an update on Shenmue HD next month. Which would by far be the biggest of those three possible updates. Unless the update is "No update on that one yet, sorry!".

Maybe some of the tweeters among you can ask Biscay for clarification?

I'm pretty sure Biscay's answer is Shenmue III / Paypal related.

First of all, it's Twitter and it's short messages.
Secondly it's Biscay's style to create some doubt around Shenmue related news.

That said, HD Collection annoucement would be fantastic... but I don't want to get my hopes up too high on this.

Cedric is in no way qualified to speak about Shenmue 1 & 2 HD. That's Sega's thing. But I'm excited to hear about PP...

It's been way too long the wait for paypal. Glad they are finally talking about it again.
Regarding the hd remasters, it's in my opinion way too early to announce them, as they are going to most likely be released 2 or 3 months before shenmue 3 is out.

I disagree. They should release them at least a year before Shenmue 3's release in my opinion.

I agree that this is most likely going to be the case.

And true, Hyo, Shibuya and YS Net don't have anything to do with Shenmue HD. But I think them actually knowing about a possible announcment at TGS could very well be the case. But then again, like most of you said, this really is far too vague and unlikely to start getting any hopes up. I'm still a little excited for (late) September though!

The news will be in regards to Shenmue 3 (possibly Paypal). I asked Cedric last week and he told me to expect some new information in September. As others have already stated, it's not Cedric's place to comment on HD versions of Shenmue/Shenmue 2.

While I don't personally expect anything about Shenmue HD (or even for that to ever happen frankly... that way it'll be a nice surprise if it does,) at least we'll be hearing Something. Possibly PayPal. That would be nice.

i don't expect any announcements other than about Paypal. That gamestm magazine interview is like a textbook example of why print journalism is beyond worthless if all they're gonna do is regurgitate existing info.

I wish Edge would do a cover story on Shenmue III. maybe all the good journalists are waiting until there's more development underway so that there'll be something to talk about.

Way too soon for an announcement on anything other than Paypal. If Shenmue HD is going to happen it will be announced next year at the earliest.
