we don't live in 'should land'...
and the voice recognition tech (public version, NOT the real-deal used by military or covert organizations) has a long way to go.
i have a program for xp that allows voice to start a program, or task, it's far from perfect, and more often than not, errors out.
...
not against the idea, but if it's done, do it right.
(and as you stated, OPTIONAL. last thing some need to do is speak, when they just want to get covered in muck and PLAY with pads. the areas where actual player dialogue would be used, for the hyper-focused of us, just have a menu of pre determined player dialogue responses, or a button to move on to the next.)
...
my only stake in this, is the game.
i have ZERO grounds to ask for anything of anybody, doesn't matter if i paid up.
the bottom line is: i have no imagination, and pay folks for theirs in games, how dare i ask for any different when i can't code or program a game from scratch myself. if the devs approach me...which has never happened, fine, add away. a public gripe is as good as i'll give, unless i get it from top, i can contact hem via pm's/email.)
