They're not chasing their tail trying to cover or offset fulfillment costs with the PayPal money, is what I'm saying.
I mean, put it like this: it's given YSnet several thousand in income per month, and likely enough to employ a handful of extra staff. Even if we never hit another stretch goal, it was used to employ more qualified developers to make the game better.
Yeah I see what yer say'in... but what I am saying is this: let's say the kickstarter made 6 million and 20% needed to go to reward fulfillment. That means that 1.2 million of the 6 mil would have to be used leaving only 4.8 million for development.
But let's say the paypal made another .5 million... you
could say that those funds (or at least those fund minus rewards.. in this example 500,000 X.8 ($400,000) could come out of the 1.2 million needed to fulfill rewards based on the 6 million originally raised on the kickstarter.
Yu Suzuki could then look at the number and say.. well the kickstarter made 6 million.. but now instead of having to pay 1.2 million of that in rewards I only have to pay $800,000 (1,200,000 - 400,000)
