Deus Ex: Revision is finally published!

Postby Mr357 » Tue Oct 13, 2015 6:14 pm

Deus Ex was my all-time favorite game before I got into Shenmue, so this is extremely exciting for me. This mod has been in the works for years, and repeatedly has disappointed fans with delays and unfulfilled promises of release. With practically no warning, the mod has been cleared and is now available on Steam (I assume that's what the more recent delays were for, since it was technically "done" much earlier into this year).

The rest of my free time for this week is booked.

I got the game from GOG almost a year ago with all the mods, I think less than 30 mins is what I got. I really don't like FPS (or dying, too much graphic adventures in my youth).

I do want to play it, but I just don't "care¿?" enough.

I can't really recommend it if you haven't played through the original. It's just a twist on the game many people already love. It doesn't make the game more accessible or modern.

I got the HD + tweaks (different versions).

It's not that I don't like it, It's just that I don't know why I don't feel appalled.

I should love everything in theory, even while I spoiled some of the story, don't know what it is (the gui-inventory, the skill system, or whatever).

I just hate when everygame you have a "intellectual" choice, but I just enter blasting shit away because.

I've tried human revolution, but when I see all those upgrades I think of replay, and I just drift away.

I hate it more when the game seems to have everything I want lol.

It's a big difference between the normal + hd mod + "gameplay mod" ?

It seemed to be free, but I can't download it from steam.

Gives me:

Ha habido un problema al añadir este producto a tu cuenta de Steam.

There has been a problen adding this product to your steam account.

I have the game on GOG, but there hasn't been an update, it's that ?

You have to own Deus Ex on Steam in order to get the mod. You my be able to download it separately from their website.
