Favourite interior location in Shenmue?

Of all the various shops, bars, businesses, amusements, and other interiors (Hazuki house, warehouses, Nagai Industries, etc.) in Shenmue, do you have a particular favourite - and if so, which one?

The Ajiichi has to be my favourite. Even though it's one of the few shops in the game you're ever required to step foot into, I always love going in there regardless of the requirements. Such a cosy, calm place with a great atmosphere. Tao-san and Lin Xia (with her psycho-like knife stance) are a great pair, too

Call it nostalgia of my childhood, but actually the Arcade is my favourite interior location.

I really love searching the whole Hazuki residence for all kinds of things. It is just so freaking detailed that one does not notice everything at once. Another cool place is the tomato convenience store because of its catchy tune. Also, i love going to the antique shop to hear something about chinese mythology - another aspect of the game that i like.

I just LOVE entering nagai industries, but I think it's mostly the music.

I really like Heart beats bar, the alleyway leading to it, the music, the smoke (the only place in Shenmue that has it, right ?), seems like the best bar around (size and decorations) but it's populated by lowlifes. Just so good.

Nagai Industries. This is the place where you can feel the influence of Takimoto-san the most.

The whole Hazuki Residence is always the nicest place to be at. Obviously because it's the start of the game and your home, so it definately sticks with you. I especially enjoy going into the basement. That part was always one of the best moments in the game.

Outside of the house I'd say MJQ Jazz Bar. Just love how they designed this place, very relaxing. Of course, like many others, the arcade is also among my favorite places as I spend so much time there every playthrough.

Daisangen Mahjong Parlour is pretty damn smoky, too. Always struck me as quite a suspicious place

hazuki residence is probably my favourite, but i also love the section of the game when you find the hidden basement. its very mysterious and gentle, and i love to look at all my fathers interesting artefacts and wonder about his travels in china.

Haha, I guess Russiya China Shop is nice, I was always blown away seeing Ryo's reflection in the mirror and couldn't get my head around how they would graphically produce something that reflects!

I always thought the warehouses were pretty cool and mysterious, with all the shady shit that takes place in them. You can be having a huge fight inside, and on the outside, people are just walking past, going on with their work, not knowing about the ass-kicking that some thugs are receiving just on the other side of the wall.
