New Shenmue 3 Prototype video shown in a Chinese event

Yu Suzuki was in China with a new progress report on Shenmue 3's development, although the article is not yet translated to English, there is an off-screen video showing new environments, as well as the game's day/night cycle. You can check it out below.

Safe to say it's non spoilerish. Wonder if the interior is of that building that was shown with the last update?

I must say, the 2 interiors, despite the camera quality footage, really do look like Shenmue.

Even something as small as this prototype brings troves of excitement! This is going to be an emotional two years of waiting...

No spoilers, it's two videos one showing external environment day night cycles, Suzuki was about to say something more but translator, probably based off rehersed script interjects and says weather cycles include rain as well.

Second scene at the end translator asks if thats Ine-san which Suzuki confirms. Suzuki says there is a slow down because it is slow PC but comments how pretty the scene is, demonstrating the lighting effects.

I'll admit i too am getting excited over seeing new blurry shots

I hope Yu opens an official site soon , i don't get why he's showing this in china,i mean i know shenmue online at the time had it's place there with the then booming chinese mmo scene but i can't imagine many chinese people are aware of the shenmue IP?

Maybe it has to do with their investors idk
