the reason we always see YS with the same shirt is because we are actually dead ?

I have a great feeling, still feels so weird and tingly thinking SIII is happening.

The wait for Shenmue III did seem like some sort of purgatory. Perhaps the long awaited announcement finally represents our transcendence into heaven.

Hello everyone, I am so happy to be here . Shenmue dojo is very famous in Chinese shenmue fans club. Today another member or myself will share some pictures about the conference, such as the gifts and paints.

Great to hear from Chinese Shenmue fans, I'd love to hear about how you guys first played Shenmue, how the fan community grew over there, what your favourite aspects of the games are, etc.

Sorry to reply late, my boss told me I had to finished my work this month yesterday. So one member of our community will shared the questions and answers between Yu suzuki and us. Please be patient, and the pictures we couldn't upload to dojo from China, we don't know why.

And, I'd like to share the how we felt when first played Shenmue and how our community estabilished next month.

What if the game comes in the mail... we put it into our system.... and then nothing happens.

We sit there looking at snow on the TV screen for a long time for hours.. and then come to the dreadful realization that we all died back in 2001 when Shenmue 2 came out.




We all weren't ready to die until Shenmue 3 came out so we stayed in the land of the living until the day came.

I always thought it was like this:

Shenmue 1 = Chapter 1 (Yokosuka)
Shenmue 2 = Chapter 2, 3, and 4. (Wan Chai, Kowloon, and Guilin)

Now Suzuki says

Shenmue 3 will cover 5 and 6.

It looks like we might get some of the later stretch goals anyway thanks to the investment from Cedric Biscay/Shibuya Productions.

Perhaps we should not view the stretch goals as binary things.

Reaching the High Ground might better mean a complete environment destruction to the extent possible, so the highest number of developers Yu can recruit for.

That's encouraging.

Seems like Yu was right about stretching the money more than he originally thought they'd be able. Not that they're going to be able to hit every single stretch goal that hasn't been reached yet, however. It looks like he's picking and choosing the features he wants to see in the game the most, like the High Ground Battle System.

I'm guessing the boat chapter is completely excluded from this count, as well as the discarded Li River chapter, so this new timeline takes into account only what we have seen so far.
