Weird how there's all this Chinese promo and they still haven't confirmed Chinese subtitles for the game. I'm hoping some Chinese investor is gonna throw money at the game on the condition that they add a Mandarin dub to help with sales of the game in the region, I'd quite like to play it with Mandarin dub/English subs as well since it's set in Guilin.

During the ps1 and ps2 era console gaming is not legal in China. Its legal to buy console but not game. So 99% the gamer will buy a console and import game from Japan. So it's alway ok to play game in Japanese for Chinese gamer. And now with the ps4 era it's ok to own both that's why so many gaming conference and game start to advertise in China. So shenmue 3 with Chinese sub is totally possible. I am sure if they release all the script. Chinese fan will willing to translate the game for free.
