Love the new arrangement. It's a shame that shenmue only had one track whilst other series had 2 or more but beggars can't be choosers i suppose. Would have loved to have heard earth & sea in there or something.

Nothing special musically but consoling. First official new track with the kickstarter theme since Shenmue Online.

Still butthurted that Richard Jacques could not give an epic tribute in Sonic Transformed though.

Well it's really noch much more then an interpretation of the main theme. I think the erhu sounds a little wrong and forced here. Still nice that they remade this for the game though.

I really like it! The Erhu part kinda reminds me of the Ip Man theme, which is awesome! :-)

Personally, I think it's nice hear new Shenmue music (arrangement, whatever) after soooo long. Makes me all nostalgic, honestly.

Thanks for the link Stocke, that's an excellent remix of the Shenmue theme. Plus, it seems that YouTube channel has managed to upload the whole soundtrack. There's heaps of good music here; Go Straight (mentioned above) is always amazing, Stairs of Time and Gentle Hands from .hack retain their haunting beauty, there's even a cool remix of Angels with Burning Hearts from Burning Rangers. Hearing these tunes really makes me glad I've pre-ordered this game.
