It's not something I'd get my hopes up for.

Peter's explanation of how the update process works is definitely something that helps clear this up, and goes partly towards explaining the low-info period from Sept-Nov last year. If YSnet is too busy to get the updates out regularly anymore, then that's fine.

As long as AJ answers questions to confirm a change to the schedule, then we're golden. Just have to find more ways to pass the time than speculating on updates!

A reply to my question about the updates:

While it may not be possible to do a full update every month (we often have our hands more then full just keeping everything running), we will of course do our absolute best to keep backers informed and adhere to the monthly updates as much as possible.

It's kind of a non-answer, but it does make me think that up until now we've gotten updates regularly because the time can be spared to make them happen. That probably won't be the case going forward.

The good news is by next Tuesday we'll only be three weeks away from the end of the month and we can see what happens.

I think at least half of this year is going to be hard waiting for news. "Early this year" could be april perfectly to see a new video so I'll take it easy..

With this franchise's luck, the footage will be revealed on April 1st, and people will insist it's all an elaborate April Fool's joke, and that the game could never look as good as it will lol. XD (But it will in fact be real, just a timing oversight at its release.)

I am all right with a little wait. I would say to expect fewer updates this year, as anything they show will be expected to be tangible after a year of mostly fluff.

This is the year they need to make an impact, if there are more "Suzukis Favorite Socks" updates, people will start to get even more irritated.
