If they are still holding onto this belief that Shenmue will be out in just 6 short months, the the demo would be coming about now. As well as our names on the website. As well as the wallpapers promised.

I imagine finally revealing the game would be like turning on a spigot when it comes to information coming through the Kickstarter, and they can start actually talking about stuff like the backer demo, etc.

EDIT: Hopefully should be seeing the prototypes/finals for the physical rewards in the near future too.

I don't care about a delay so long as it's communicated effectively and they can show some footage to help people actually want to wait for the delay. I worry they'll delay it without showing anything to make non-fans give a crap.

Yeah, I can't say that I wouldn't be disappointed by a years delay (obviously I'd accept it though because it's Shenmue), but an extra few months I'd be more than prepared to deal with.

I'm going to go out on an semi-optimistic limb that even if (when?) the game gets delayed, it won't be for a year.

The footage from February in the March update didn't look like a game with 22 months left on the clock.

It pretty much means what the translation says. It would translate more accurately to "hello, we all hope to have a beautiful trailer soon"

It really all depends on how far Cedric's involvement with the project goes and how big his clout within S3 is. If I remember correctly, his job title on S3 is "Co-Producer". What exactly that means, I cannot tell. Maybe a forum member who has worked in game development before can.

I suspect Cedric's role is that of some kind of controller, who makes sure Yu doesn't spend too much money. It might be that Cedric has no direct operational involvement with S3 and only has a vague idea what's really going on operations-wise.
