Alright here's my personal opinion on when we'll hear on S3

SEGA said that they'll be announcing three killer titles this year.

1. One will be announced at E3 in May

2. One will be announced at the TGS in Sept

3. and finally one will be announced at it's own special conference

Although I don't have a clue what the E3 and TGS games will be at this moment in time, I am 97% sure that number 3 will indeed be for Shenmue III and December is my safest bet for the special conference to take place.

Exactly 6 years from when the original was first shown to the world.

We shall see.

Well I definately have to agree with you reporter. Everthing you just said makes perfect sense. All we can do is hope and wait.

My view is compassed by the word "killer". I don't believe that SEGA would ever call Shenmue a "killer game". So of the three killer games they are announcing, none of them are going to be Shenmue III. That's not to say that they won't announce Shenmue III at some point, just that it isn't part of the "announced announcements", so to speak.

i dont know why everytime there is news of shenmue 3 it has to be at this mega event if and when it gets made we will know

I don't think Sega called these upcoming games "killer" titles. I think their word was "Major" or something like that. Oh well, it realy doesn't matter that much anyway. :microwave:
