Shenmue Online - Your opinion

Alright, I know there are loads of topics already discussing the forthcoming Shenmue Online.

And if this is a hoax by somebody else, then it's a damn good one.

In any case, what is your personal opinion? Do you like the idea? Do you hate the idea? Do you think the idea is OK but you'd much more rather have Shenmue 3? Do you think this would be better than Shenmue 3?

Me, I was wanting Shenmue 3. I thought an online game could ruin the series. But, depending how this is done, I may well buy it anyway. Something to do while waiting for Shenmue 3, eh? I just hope they don't put any of the story in it to mess it up before Shenmue 3 comes out (if it does).

i don't really know yet... i need info, screenies, previews before i can decide whether this will be good or not. Also obviously as an MMORPG it will have a monthly cost i don't know how i'm going to afford this and FFXI

if its just an online fighting game with no plot forget it.fighting games are two a penny.if it was a huge explorable world of shenmue where you can fully explore and interact that continued the plot it would have one floor
shenmue 1 and 2 does not have 10,000 ryo's.reading other posts i believe this game is mainly aimed for the chinese etc.plus besides paying for the game you will no doubt have to subscribe to the service.you won't get to play for free after buying.if it is just combat based then it will get boring too quick.shenmue was much more original than to evolve in to a mere fighting only game.

I voted for the second option.

And I have confidence in this. I just think that it could turn out great to walk around in the Shenmue world again. I also believe that many people will change opinion later on after the first chock.

It's on the PC! Awesome! I picked number 2. This will go well with my Geforce 6 card.
