Happy Console Gamer is my favorite show by far right now. I love the energy and love he has for gaming. It gets me fired up again when I thought that was impossible. It seems like his show has kind of fallen flat though which is sad. There are a bunch of games I wanted to review and talk about on my show, but I'd rather suggest that for him to do, because he does such a good job of production and research. I've just been too lazy and busy to drop him a message. I hope someone else does. LOL

Messed around with the original Dead to Rights for a couple hours tonight. I've always loved the game, but I'd almost forgotten how good the writing and personality is in it. Such a bum rap that it ended up second fiddle to Max Payne back in the day. Sure, the gameplay might not hold up as well in a general sense, but it still had an awesome freakin' story and some really great dialogue. It really deserves more of a fanbase than it ever got.

to be fair you're playing the worst version of it. I think it drops something like 30% of inputs, runs at 1/3rd the framerate and doesn't have as many effects. The game looks/feels really different compared to the original release.

I noticed they changed some stuff in the original too, but when I play even that it doesn't excite me. In a different era, I probably would've just gone along with it. Doesn't help that i'm more interested in playing TR or MGR and my time is just not as plentiful as it once was.

Ridiculous how many stages you have to get through to actually start playing FIFA 13. Input online pass code, download it, install it, download game updates, install it, EA Origin policy agreement screen, EA social club screen, some other screen trying to sell Ultimate Team mode or some shit. Such a bloated confusing process..

I hear it's poorly optimized and doesn't run as well as the original. Apparently it's still fairly playable, but far from the silky smooth framerate the weaker PS2 was pulling off.

It's more of a problem with the gameplay itself than the framerate or graphics. I just didn't find it fun.
