Breaking: Gunshots Reported On MIT's Campus

MIT is reporting gun shots on its campus near building 32 (Stata).
No word yet on how many shots were fired or really what the scene is like, but a tweet from the university's paper says a police officer is down.

I'm so disgusted with the media, especially over the last few days. I suppose it's worth noting the coincidence of MIT being near Boston, and rogue possibility the events could be related, but the media is basking in the traumatic events of the week.

Well, apparently the shootout involved the two suspects in the bombing. One is now dead, and the other is still at large.

so the government can lock down entire sections of cities just for 2 guys? that seems scarier than the bombing itself, though I guess after the LAPD killed as many people looking for dorner as the marathon bombing did I guess it's for the best.
