You could have the real thing if you ever get your butt back to London and tried some classes with that master I linked you too! You need not travel to HK.
On a slightly related note. This is from a very recent Tai Ji workshop last weekend in London with grand master Chen XiaoWang (and no I'm not in this pic):
Grand master CXW is the guy in the background wearing the Chinese style shirt (and the other Chinese guy in the light blue trousers is my Shifu!). He's like the real life Jianmin but a thousand times better! [/ CXW fanboy moment]
Anyway, all that aside, I think the one thing I'd most like to be real from Shenmue (that isn't already real) is Xiuying Hong! Whadda woman. One of the greatest and most unsung female characters in the gaming medium, as far as I am concerned. Whats not to love about her, she's deadly, mysterious, wise, serious, strong and elegant.
I'd air out books all day long for you Xiuying Hong!

But something awesome would be Shenmue-Background music. Imagine entering your home and the music plays.
CXW sounds like an indy hardcore wrestling fed.

Haha, he'd probably be game for that. wrestling is actually a component within Chen Tai ji training, and Chen Xiaowang (like all tai ji masters) just loves throwing people around!Fenix wrote: Is your Shifu Lü Baochun? Maybe I'm mistaking.
Nope, he's Shifu Quan Jun Liu. http://www.taijicircle.com/profile.html

No worries. Do you study Baji? I actually used to study a little bit Bajiquan too a while back. Fantastic stuff, but quite different from Tai Ji of course.
The second seems very serious but only advanced students of mantis and taijiquan can enter in the class. This school seems to be very serious and it's also focused on caligraphy, medicine and all the chinese ancient arts so in my opinion it's the best choice. But this one is actually a little far.
