Kinda like the last tower of Infinite Undiscovery. The game doesn't crash or anything but you walk into a room with a bunch of ice pixie things and these two big blue trolls and they just slaughter you as soon as you walk in regardless of who you have, what you have quipped or what level you are. You need to glitch out the game and try and stand in the doorway so that the door doesn't actually close, then lure a few enemies at a time into the hallway.

its not because the game crashes or freezes, but its still broken because its not fun to walk into a room and die for no reason.

I wasn't just talking about crashes and freezes but also when something just doesn't work well enough to the point where it becomes an inconvenience to the player, like what you were citing, the monster thing may be poorly structured but it isn't an inconvenience, you can still easily work with it to get the results you want with a little effort, I didn't even pay attention to the whole monster part until towards the end of the game where I caught a green chocobo and levelled it up

what you were talking about the monster system I consider poorly constructed and what you said just now about the blue trolls is something I call broken since it's a real inconvenience

You know, I just kept swapping out too, I think I upgraded a boss I was lucky enough to snag and that was all.

Time Stalkers on DC is a better put together game. Yes it is a rogue RPG with random dungeons with little story dated visuals forgettable music. Yet still had some charm.

Playing Chrono Trigger the other day and I only first played it last year. My god it's fantastic. I play anything even up to XII not even the supposed glory years of the 90's. Since XII something has obviously been lost. Hell as great as XII is some of XIII was in it with a bad main character. (no he didn't bother me much but was obviously forced in) Lightning s the John Cena of FF series or Roger Moore as Bond. It just does not work no matter how many times you force it.

Is Lightning the well-proportioned pink-haired female?

I just want to give you the pleasure of Googling something for me.

Trailer for the game

I hope they give Lightning enough depth to have a bunch of abilities to learn and make her development interesting, otherwise she'll level up real fast and the combat could get really old, really fast. Especially if you've already gone through dozens of hours playing something similar in XIII and XIII-2. To me, it almost looks like the game would be better off as it's own IP. I'm interested in the mechanics and curious to see how it all works, but it's all takes place in a setting I don't care for. It's pretty apparent that they spent all this time and money building the engine and the setting that they have to use it as much as possible, but honestly I would prefer it if they just cut their losses and start anew.

Theatrhythm was also released for free on iOS. But only comes with 2 songs, One Winged Angel and Zanarkand. In order to really experience Theatrhythm as it appears on the 3DS, you'll need to meet or exceed the purchase price of the 3DS game itself by buying individual songs and bundles separately to flesh out your music library. Only the most diehard of FF fans would buy all the music that the game is offering but still.

The final fantasy series was great, popularity caused by the 7th completly ruined it but for up to game 8 it was brilliant.

Finally watched the trailer for the new XIII. Really trying not to go Dorian here but the new design IMO is terrible. It looked like a bad AC game with all the climbing. Also was her VA always that bad?
