I started to go through checkout and noticed free shipping was an option also. Gonna think about it over next few days, We've talked before about Insert coin quality, but it's not like another licensed Shenmue jacket is just gonna stroll through.

Even if i love Shenmue to a point where i collect goods like mouse pad and lots of things, i just dont feel like spending 100 euros on this. Not brown, stickers, its gonna end up like a normal jacket in the next few months due to the quality.

I'd rather spend 200/300 euros on a real and custom jacket, made for me that looks exactly like the one he's wearing in game... :/

That is a hideous jacket lol! only thing nice is the patches! that leather looks like cheap korean pleather that will crack at the elbows in a month save your money and make one.

Look no further here is my custom 1-1 jacket this is as close as you can get its real leather heavy and looks killer when riding my motorcycle...










I was going to list this on ebay but seeing how FUGLY the insert coin one is i will be keeping this... unless the price is right >:)

I am not a fan of the insert coin clothing jacket. Why is the colour wrong ? im not trying to be mean but is it that hard to get the colour to be brown instead of black/Dark Dark brown.
I asked them on facebook but they just seem to be in awe about there own jacket to really listen to feedback.

Lol thanks ! it took me 3 months to finish. it is a vintage bomber jacket i removed the inner liner, inserted my own, remover the bulky shoulder pads that were in it, ( its from the 80s) added the patches and BAM wear it almost every time i ride my motorcycle it is super close to his actual jacket even the way it fits i got lucky with the leather jacket i found. its even the Yokosuka Brown it should be not chocolate brown like that hideous insert coin fail -_-

I've about decided to pass this up, thinking about the last time I shopped at insertcoin and placed an order only to be told due to their stock control issues none of the items were available. My order was refunded except for the international transaction fees associated with it. I'm not convinced that the quality will be there if I place an order, i'd rather have no jacket then get one that costs 120$ and is lacking quality. That custom one you made is absolutely incredible, that should be insertcoin's goal if they want to create gamerwear that respects the passion in the gaming communities they want to sell to.

Only downside I can see here is, since this is official merchandise, I'm wondering if bad sales will affect the future of Shenmue, one way or antoher Although to be honest I really doubt it!

Wasted opportunity here as far as I'm concerned. Since this is such an important and iconic piece from the Shenmue series I simply expected more from insertcoin, even for a fairly reasonable price.

Maybe a improved version will see the light of day in the near future, one can only hope. But than again, a custom jacket while pricey seems the only way to go for the time being

I liked the hoodie but I have to agree I thought the jacket would be a little better, still I am down to support any Shenmue merch as I am sure there won't be much in the future sadly :(

This jacket is gorgeous. I bought the hoodie+tshirt as soon as it was available when it was out. They're great.

However, I've lost a lot of weight in the past year, so I don't wear them often anymore :-( I would buy the new one, but unfortunately I'm totally skint since leaving university... :-( Hopefully ebay will still have some in the future...

I've preordered the jacket just now. I'm still not really impressed with the color and the patches but I did it anyway. It's Shenmue, I can't resist. I found a working promotinal code that saved me 15%. That's £12 and brought the price a bit more into the comfort zone.

Now I'm curious when it will be shipped and arrive at my place. I know someone in Austria who already got his jacket so I hope it won't take too long.
