I said 5 years ago that Brad Keselowski was something special, before most people knew who he was, or pronounce his name for that matter. It was great to see that come to fruition. I think the next two guys to rise up are Ryan Blaney and Darryl Wallace Jr. They are future stars

I have to give you credit where it's due. I still remember you saying Trevor Bayne was the next Jeff Gordon. Then about a week later he wins the Daytona 500. I'll keep an eye for those two in the future.

The problem now with Bayne is that he gets no seat time. Victim to a tough economy, where sponsorship is scarce. Here is something to watch for next season in the nationwide series. Vickers and Sadler will both be driving full time for Gibbs. Joe Gibbs wants a fourth team. They will both know this. 2 drivers, one top seat. I suspect at least one race, those two will have the pressure get to them, they'll be in like kind equipment so they will be in each others hair alot. They will get into each other and have a 'disagreement' off and on the track. Mark these words. It could get vicious.

The next guy to win it within his first 3 years in the Sprint series will be Ricky Stenhouse Jr. I dare say, after all he won the Nationwide series 2 years in a row.

It was kind of sad to see Bayne win the 500 then fizzle out of competition.

Really? I think Stenhouse is the next David Regan.

Congrats on the bowl win, what you only lost twice all year right?

That's awesome. You brought the good vibes to Clemson this year. ;-)

And Gonzaga is still going strong. 13-1 (Only loss is too the great Illinois team), just beat #22 Oklahoma State in Stillwater,OK where they are 108-5 since 1987 in non conference games. Start conference play tomorrow at Pepperdine and still have a hard non-con game later this month at Butler.

Edit: Oh yeah, 5-0 against the Big 12. They beat West Virginia, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Baylor!

My Tigers made me proud. If only we could have done that against South Carolina.

That USC game was good all the way to the end. Yeah, and we were beating Flo State pretty good until the second half when all the bath salts kicked in for them. But seriously, we've had a problem with loosing our composure when things don't go our way. Last game was the most composed I've ever seen them in the past two years. I just hope everyone stays for a good run at a national championship.

I'll root for Clemson. That is if and assuming that Washington State (Never in a million years, they suck huge donkey balls), Washington, Oregon, Oregon State or Boise State don't meet them in that game.

(Those last three, maybe even U of W, are never out of question lately)

Any of those would make good games. Hopefully our schedule will be more competitive next season.

Well Brothaman, looks like Gonzaga might be #1 come Monday. Since Indiana lost and everything. Only team in the way is a team they should have no trouble with, Portland here in Spokane. Last night we knew it would not be a gimme game at BYU but they pulled it off. First time in school/team history they will be #1, here's to hoping I didn't just jinx them come Saturday's game to seal the deal on being the #1 team in the country.

Plus, even if they seal the deal the conference tourney they will probably be facing some team's that could give them trouble like Saint Mary's and BYU again, even Santa Clara. You just never know, just because they have beat them in the regular season doesn't mean they are guaranteed to win at the WCC tourney in Las Vegas. But they have clinched the conferance title for sure, Saint Mary's is two games behind at 13-2, the only 2 losses being to Gonzaga! :)

So when they win Saturday they will be 29-2, the only two losses being to Illinois who was #13 at the time and to Butler at Butler at the buzzer who was also #13 at that time. They have not lost to an unranked team like the other top 10 teams have been doing and the beat a few teams that went into the top 25 after they beat them like Kansas State, even the teams that have been #1 have been falling a lot, this year many upsets have been handed out.

So it will be good to see them as #1 if they don't blow it, but the NCAA tournament is where they need to prove to people that they deserved it.

They've deserved a #1 set for the last few years, but always got screwed. They should have it this time. *knocks on wood*
